Opened in 1961, the Biological Sciences Building is identifiable by the four multi-story pillars surrounding its entrance and concrete ornaments on its façade (suggesting its original use: botany, zoology and forestry). Located next to the French Family Science Center, Biological Sciences houses systematics, population genetics and evolution, animal physiology and functional morphology, as well as the undergraduate Department of Biology.
